Julia et Bertil…

Relationships with my clients are often remarkable. I like to bond. I like to get to know the people who have allowed me be part of an event that will be remembered as much as their child’s birth. It’s a landmark, life changing day. Bonding with Julia and Bertil’s family and friends was easy and a significant reward for all the hours a photographer spends chasing light, hauling gear, retouching images, keeping alert and etc. etc. etc.

Julia and Bertil hired me in 2012 for a simple 3 hour elopement-style wedding at San Francisco’s City Hall. We liked one another immediately and I was hired to photograph their Paris wedding. That was 15 days ago and it is still on my mind. I was encouraged to embed with their family and friends while staying just 5 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower.  It was a memorable week because of this wonderful wedding and couple.

I also had the honor of working with Agnes Colombo, a Paris based photographer. She acted as my 2nd photographer and shot several of the images you see below. She has a beautiful soul and is very talented. Thank you Agnes. Your future is bright.
