Maggie + Branko, Marin Headlands, CA

Maggie and Branko were referred to me by a close friend. He said, “these are good people” and I should shoot their wedding. Such a recommendation carries a lot of weight with me because I think pretty much everything good starts with “good people”: people who care about one another, their craft, their health, the planet, etc. It carries through all the way to their wedding day.

We all met and, indeed, I needed to shoot their wedding. Branko and Maggie are easy-going, happy and passionate people and I had been wanting to shoot at their wedding venue for quite a while (the Marin Headlands Art Center). It is a building with aged walls and fantastic natural light that bounces around and can be very flattering. It truly has character.
